A QUAD bike was among the items stolen during a series of burglaries in Sandhurst.

At a property on Swan Lane, Sandhurst, between 3.30pm on Sunday February 4 and Monday February 5 at 7am, a quad bike was stolen from a lock up. 

The thieves also stole a number of batteries after the cut a padlock at the gate. Crime reference number 43180037151.

On January 29, there were four separate thefts in Sandhurst, one on York Town Road, one on Florence Road, and two on Albion Road.

The first, on York Town Road, took place between 5.45am and 7.45pm, when a side gate was forced open and the rear patio window had been smashed. 

The house was searched and items including cash, a number of paintings, a hoover and an owl garden ornament were stolen. Crime reference number 43180030300.

The second two came on Albion Road. First, a rear patio door was smashed and the house was searched including the loft, with crystal glass and jewellery stolen. Crime reference number 43180030379.

The other Albion Road incident was similar, when the rear patio door of a property was smashed, before the house was searched. It is believed that the thieves may have been disturbed, as nothing was taken.

A property on Florence Road was broken into when the glass panel in the rear PVC door was smashed, and the thieves grabbed he keys to the door which were kept nearby.

The house was searched before a neighbour interrupted the incident and the thieves ran. Crime reference number 43180030333.
