A MOTHER and her baby will be running together every day for charity in the build up to Christmas.

Emma Rowley from Sandhurst will run with her seven-month-old daughter in a push chair once a day until Christmas eve.

Mrs Rowley is running in support of 'Something To Look Forward To', a cancer charity led by her close friend, Frankie and her mother Fiona Coldron.

Although she is hoping for good weather, Mrs Rowley says she will complete the 75 mile challenge, come rain or shine.

She said: "I wanted to run or walk five kilometres each day in December without raising any money for charity to avoid going on a crash diet in January.

"Then I thought if I could run every day instead I could do it for charity. My friend Frankie runs this charity with her mum Fiona."

Something To Look Forward To is a social action charity that donates gifts and experience to cancer patients and their families who are dealing with the impact the disease has on people, both emotionally and financially.

Mrs Rowley hopes to take her daughter on as many of the runs as possible and says Jessica loves to be out and about.

"Jessica absolutely loves it," she added. "I don't take her out every day, but when I do she's beaming and I have a running buggy which has really bouncy suspension."

Mrs Rowley says by completing this challenge, she can show her support for Ms Coldron, who had breast cancer twice, while helping give to the many struggling families.

"Frankie is one of my best friends. We were bridesmaids at each other's weddings. Her mum had breast cancer twice. They work so hard for this charity and I really wanted to do something to help.

"The charity provides people with cancer with gifts and experiences, everything from a toiletry gift pack to a holiday away.

"I didn't really have anything to give so the money I raise will help the charity by experience for people that need them."
