KYLE Owen-Bradshaw has been able to fulfil a lifelong dream in his first season as a professional driver after being named Most Enthusiastic Driver 2017.

Owen-Bradshaw targeted top-10 finishes in the final round of the VAG Trophy at Oulton Park and, after qualifying in 10th position, he finished eighth in race one and sixth in race two.

The Slough-based star said: “I have to thank Getac so much for seeing the belief in me and for allowing me to represent them both on and off the track.

“They are a sponsor that have truly invested in me and I will be forever grateful to them. They’ve seen the dedication and determination I posses to succeed in such a competitive sport.

“I want to thank Tony Gilham and his Team HARD Racing for constantly keeping me on the pace with the car and helping me to exceed my own expectations along with those of others in my rookie year of racing.

“I also want to express me deepest thanks and gratitude to Varoosh Sports Partnerships Ltd for their guidance throughout the year plus my friends, family and other partners, Jellyfish Designs Ltd, Allprint Supplies (Slough), Slough Audi, Motion Simulation Race Room, Drift Innovation and Dread.

“2017 has been one hell of a year, and I’m super excited for 2018. Thank you to everyone that has supported me along the way. I’m blessed to have you all willing me to succeed.”
