FENWICK Bracknell got into the Christmas spirit by channelling their inner Santa Claus and donating toys to a children's hospital.

The store, which opened in The Lexicon in September, sent a team from their Build-A-Bear branch, and Father Christmas, to the Dolphin and Lion Ward at Royal Berkshire Hospital.

The team spent time with patients and donated build a bear toys, as well as Hasbro, Lego and VTech branded products.

Craig Strugnell, Store Director, Fenwick Bracknell, said: “We are delighted to make this donation to The Royal Berkshire NHS Trust this Christmas - a facility who delivers vital services to children in our local community.

"We would like to thank all our staff and brand partners involved and hope we bring some joy this festive season“

June Leatheam, Charity Fundraising Manager, The Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, said: “Here at The Royal Berkshire we are very thankful to Fenwick Bracknell for the donation of toys this Christmas that will be cherished by the children in our care over the Christmas period.

"We look after children from birth to 16 years of age within our two wards and the generosity of Fenwick Bracknell will be so appreciated by these children who will be away from home and families this Christmas, bringing them some happiness to brighten their day on what would otherwise be an upsetting time.”
