A TRIO of cars were broken into in an overnight theft spree.
Overnight on November 14 going into 15, three cars were broken into.
The first car, which was left unlocked on Reading Road, was broken into overnight by brazen thieves who stole the centre console from the inside of the car.
They also took coins which were left inside their car in the theft, which took place on November 14 going into 15.
Another car parked on Hutsons Close, Wokingham, had a stone thrown through the back window of the car, while another car was broken into on the same road.
On the same night, a container on a construction site was broken into, with thieves taking a floor saw, disk cutter and battery. The surrounding fence was cut and container door forced open.
Police have urged people to not leave their cars unlocked at any time in light of the car thefts.
The statement from police said read: "Never leave items in your car, sunglasses, loose change, satnav – the thief will search through the glovebox and side pockets – we support the empty car campaign
"Always close the windows, lock the doors and activate any security devices.Report anything or anyone suspicious immediately to the police on 101
"Never leave items in the car or van whether valuable or not - it only encourages someone to break in and find out it's a paper bag!
