BUS PASSENGERS in Finchampstead are having to crane upwards after contractors raised the Reading Buses timetable up to new heights.
A new street lamp was recently installed on Nine Mile Ride, complete with a case containing bus times and routes.
Sadly for the more diminutive bus traveller, the sign was attached about two metres up the pole.
“You have got to be tall to read this timetable,” said one Reading Buses customer, who saw the funny side of the height of the fitting.
It has left both bus operator and passengers a little perplexed at to what the fitters were thinking.
