PLANS for a redevelopment of North Ascot will go before a public consultation.
Two new schools, an infant and junior, are designed in close consultation with the schools' governors and teachers.
Also included in the plans is a new pre-school, with space for 52 local children.
There will be a new site and hut for the Ascot Scout Group to provide a scouting centre for the area.
As is the case with most developments, there will be some housing involved with these plans, and in this case there will be 24 family homes built.
The plans were originally put to the public back in 2014, but now changes have been made to those plans, which include a new swimming pool and new 'eco' building for the CofE Infant School.
A new access road from Rhododendron Walk to Forest Road will also be created, in order to ease traffic congestion during school drop-off and pick-up times.
The consultation events will take place in the Oak Room of the Mill Ride Golf & Country Club, Mill Ride, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8LT at the following times:
• Wednesday 18th October, 16:30 - 20:30
• Thursday 19th October, 16:30 - 20:30
• Friday 20th October, 15:00 - 18:00
• Saturday 21st October, 10:00 - 13:00
