FAMILIES gathered to bask in the sunshine at this year's Braybrooke Summer of Fun event.
The celebration was held at Braybrooke Recreation Ground on Wednesday, August 16 and organisers hailed it as a roaring success.
Families flocked to the free summer event which featured an array of activities, from handling birds of prey and miniature golf to creating art work and storytelling. Braybrooke Nature and Fishing Club (BCNFC) coaches gave short lessons to children who were keen to learn how to fish at the tranquil Jeans’ Pond.
Bracknell Town Mayor Clive Harrison was in attendance at the popular event as many families continued the fun after the event with picnics in the sunshine whilst children enjoyed the play area facilities.
Bracknell Town Council thanked all those who attended and gave support to ensure the event was such a success.
The final Summer of Fun event will be held on August 30 at North Lake, South Hill Park from 11am to 3pm.
