WOKINGHAM market has officially relocated for the duration of the market square redevelopment.
The borough council is keen to ensure that residents of the town are aware that the market square is still open, and traders are still operating as usual.
The square is currently undergoing a £3.8m redevelopment, relaying the pavement and the bus lane through the centre of the square.
As a result of this, the market square will be out of action until April 2018, meaning the market stalls selling food, flowers and much more, have moved down the road to just outside of Argos.
Some have expressed concern over the lack of parking near to the newly relocated market, but the council is adamant that there shouldn't be any problems.
A statement on the website read: "With the opening of the new Carnival Pool car park there is plenty of parking in the town. Denmark Street car park is still accessible in the usual way via the library end of Denmark Street and Elms road car park is just as convenient.
"Whilst the disabled parking bays in Denmark Street are now out of action other disabled bays are available in Rose Street, outside the Methodist Church and in front of the Post Office on Broad Street. When complete the Market Place will have more disabled bays than previously available."
