A NEW play looking at how Britain reacted to last year's refugee crisis and the fearmongering from rightwing press.
The production, created by Something Underground Theatre Company, comes to South Hill Park on Wednesday, June 28 to Thursday, June 29.
Writer and artistic director Jonathan Brown said: "It's an uncomfortable question, in that the British have always helped others when they are in trouble.
"And yet we're in the throes of a Brexit process that itself was energised and given credibility largely on the say-so of tabloids that have stirred anti-immigration feeling for years."
