JOBS are set to be created with the arrival of a new care home.

Care provider Q Care Ltd is bringing new job and apprenticeship opportunities to Bracknell thanks to winning a contract to provide domiciliary care for Bracknell Forest Council.

The contract will initially run for three years, starting in August 2017 with the family-run company keen to recruit people who already work in care or fancy a career change.

Tony Dainty, Q Care’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “These are excited times for Q Care Ltd as we start our journey in Bracknell Forest.

“We look forward to warmly welcoming new service users/individuals and staff into the Q Care family.

“At Q Care we pride ourselves on providing high quality, flexible homecare services that enable people to live at home comfortably.

“Whether the need is for short-term help after a hospital stay, round the clock care or ongoing assistance with day-to-day living, our service users select services that meet their precise needs.”

Q Care is an award-winning provider of domiciliary care services that works with councils and private individuals across South Wales and England.

The new contract will come as welcome news for anyone looking to work in the care industry in Bracknell.

The company, which won the Investors in People coveted Gold Award in 2016, will be investing in the Bracknell area by setting up an office and offering a range of job opportunities.

Mr Dainty added: “Bracknell Forest Council places significant emphasis on helping service users to regain, preserve or achieve an optimum level of independence.

“At Q Care we will be working with service users to enable them to achieve their desired outcomes so that they can get the most from each day and, where possible, reduce their care requirements over time.”
