A CYCLIST spat in a man's face in an unprovoked incident.

Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a man who could have vital information following the ABH incident.

The offence took place at about 4.20pm in Finchampstead Road, close to the California Ratepayers Hall, last Thursday.

The victim, a man in his sixties, was walking towards the California Rate Payers Hall.

As he got close to the building, a cyclist cycled out of the hall car park, and rode along the pavement towards him.

When the cyclist drew level with the victim, he spat in his face.

Nothing was said by either the victim or the cyclist leading up to the incident.

Investigating officer, PC Amy Edwards, based at Bracknell police station, said: "The victim in this incident did not sustain any injuries in this assault, but has been understandably left incredibly shaken.

"The man in this picture might have vital information which could help our investigation, so I would urge him to come forward.

"If anyone recognises this man, or has any details which they think could help us in our investigation, please contact the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101."
