THE regeneration another positive step after it secured partnership with some of the country's biggest retailers.

Kiko Milano, Pandora and New Look will be part of the Lexicon's line-up when it opens in September after they struck a deal with the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership.

Pandora, the Danish jewellery manufacturer and retailer, has taken a 1,400 sq ft shop on what will become the Avenue.

Cosmetics brand Kiko Milano will be located in Braccan Walk in a new 990 sq ft store, while New Look will relocate to and open a 12,000 sq ft store in the same area.

“The Lexicon is attracting a much anticipated eclectic mix of retailers who will provide an attractive shopping experience,” said Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker.

“We look forward with excitement to welcoming more new retailers to the town centre over the next six months, as we count down to the opening of the Lexicon.

Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of the partnership, said he's delighted they are continuing to attract such a high-end brands.

“We are now 70 per cent let by floor space and will be announcing yet more lettings in the countdown to opening.”

The announcement was part of a brief given by the team behind the regeneration as it edges ever closer to the grand opening in September.

Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, River Island and Next are among the big names already signed up for the Lexicon, along with the recently announced additions of Beaverbrooks and stationery store Smiggle.

Wagamama's, Nandos and Zizzi are among the restaurants due to open in Eagle Lane, with The Bull pub currently undergoing a major refurbishment and extension project in time for next year's opening.
