A WOMAN from Slough died in hospital yesterday after a serious road collision on Monday night.
The woman was riding a green Kawasaki motorcycle that collided with a grey Mercedes C Class car on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between junction for with the M25 and junction 5 at Langley at around 10.45pm.
The 27-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where she died yesterday.
Her next of kin have been informed.
Roads Policing officers attended the scene and an investigation is taking place in to the circumstances of the collision.
Investigating officer PC Victoria Jones, from Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who saw the two vehicles travelling before the collision."
Anyone who saw the incident or either of the vehicles is encouraged to contact the Thames Valley Police on 101.
