A MAN armed with a baseball bat who smashed up a car and motorcycle, is at the centre of a police investigation.

Officers are investigating after onlookers saw the 5ft 10ins man attack the vehicles in Kelvin Gate.

Investigating Officer, Sargeant Craig Woolnough, based at Bracknell Police station, said; “We are carrying out a thorough investigation in connection with this incident.

“We would advise anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward, also if anyone believes their property has been damaged in connection with this incident, please do get in touch.

“We are aware that a number of people may have witnessed this incident, and would ask if they have any mobile phone footage of it, to also get in touch.

“If you have any information please call Thames Valley Police on 101."

Thames Valley Police were called to the scene at 3.50am on Saturday, December 3.

They found a white man wearing skinny grey jeans and a green t-shirt and left the scene half an hour later.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "Thames Valley Police is investigating an incident in which a man used a baseball bat to cause criminal damage.

"Between 3.50am and 4.20am on Saturday we received reports of a male offender on Kelvin Gate, Bracknell using a baseball bat to cause criminal damage to a car and a motorcycle.

"The offender is described as a white male, with ginger hair, skinny grey jeans, green t-shirt, of slim build, and around 5ft 10ins tall."

An 18-year-old from Bracknell has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been bailed until January 7, 2017.
