ONE of the first stores to take up space in Bracknell's regenerated town centre will open this Friday.

Coffee Republic will open its doors to the public on November 4 offering drinks, hot food and snacks from its new base in the main entrance to Princess Square.

There are also job opportunities on offer and the coffee shop is hiring full and part time staff, the first signs of the some 3,500 jobs expected to be created by the opening of The Lexicon next September.

Rob Morris, general manager at Bracknell Regeneration Partnership said: “We are delighted to welcome Coffee Republic to Princess Square. Offering a great range of food and drinks for shoppers and local businesses, Coffee Republic enhances the great hospitality and retailer offering in Princess Square.”

There will be room to seat more than 100 people inside the coffee branch when it opens, with an extra outside terrace area which will seat around 40 customers due to be open in the coming weeks.

Owner, David Waller, who has three other Coffee Republic franchises, is excited to be opening his fourth coffee bar in Bracknell.

He said: “We were originally attracted to the town due to the ongoing development in the area. It is all changing so quickly, and we are really looking forward to being part of the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.”

Coffee Republic is currently recruiting further full and part time staff, to apply, drop your CV into the coffee bar.

Opening hours 7am to 7pm.
