A 56-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital following a collision on the M4 near Slough last week.

Officers were called to the scene of the incident at about 6:50pm following reports involving a Suzuki 650 DL motorcycle which had collided with the central reservation on the westbound carriageway between junctions 7 and six, near to the junction 6 exit for Slough.

The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the horrific crash on Thursday October 20 , but he sadly died in hospital on Tuesday.

Officers are working to establish how the collision occurred and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it.

Investigating officer, Sgt Grant Thomas of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based at Taplow, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it, to contact police.”
