THE families of two Bracknell homes which caught fire after they were struck by lightning in last night's horrific storm are believed to have escaped safely.
The semi-detached homes in Jennett's Park were engulfed by a blaze in the early hours of Thursday night as severe thunder storms tore across Berkshire.
It's believed the fire started in one house but spread to the neighbouring property.
Bracknell firestation watch manager Ben Henshaw said both houses had lost their roof but believed no one was injured.
