LONG delays were experienced on the M4 this afternoon following a crash between two cars.
Large tailbacks stretched along the motorway after one lane was closed.
The incident took place between Junction 10 and 8 on the road in the direction of London.
One person has been taken to Wexham Park Hospital and four others have been treated.
A spokesperson from South Central Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.13pm to the M4 between junction 8 and 10.
“We sent a rapid response and road ambulance. Four people were described as walking wounded and one required hospital treatment.”
Two lanes of carriageway were initially closed with one of them reopened shortly after 1pm.
