A PAIR from Bracknell have been charged after payment card details from hospital patients in Slough were stolen.

Norbert Szoke, 28, and Rebecca Szoke, 22, from Mount Lane were charged on Sunday July 17 with seven counts of theft and four of fraud by false representation each, following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.

The two of them are suspected of stealing some credit and debit cards and photographing the details of other cards at Wexham Park Hospital between March 2015 and April 18, 2016.

Five patients at the hospital had their information fraudulently used to purchase goods or to withdraw cash.

Mr Szoke has been charged with one further count of theft relating to medical equipment being stolen from the same hospital during the same time period.

The duo were initially arrested on April 28 and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

They will appear before Slough Magistrates' Court on August 16.
