SLEEPING men were rescued from their smoke filled home in the early hours of the morning.
The men, thought to be in their 40s, had fallen asleep after putting a pizza in the oven at 3am.
Bracknell and Crowthorne fire crews were called to Prescott in Hanworth to rescue them.
Firefighter Simon Drew said: "A couple of guys on a night out had put a pizza in the oven then gone to sleep.
"The whole thing was smoke filled. We gained entry through a first floor window.
"We carried them out where they started to come to."
The fire crews went back in to the house to deal with the pizza and ventilate the property.
The two men were treated at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service.
The emergency services left after around an hour.
