A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Crowthorne.
Police upped the number of patrols in the area after calls from concerned residents about suspicious behaviour in the town.
A plain-clothed officer caught one man making a suspected drug exchange with another man in a car in Oaklands Lane on Thursday (June 9) at around 6.20pm.
A large quantity of cannabis was found in the car when it was stopped and searched by police before a search at a nearby property uncovered several bags of suspected MDMA, a class A drug which was seized.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in Hatch Ride last Thursday at around 6.26pm on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
He has been released on police bail until 8 August.
