THOUSANDS turned out in their droves to enjoy a pint of ale and the warm weather last Sunday.
The sixth annual Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival at the town's rugby club's headquarters in Lily Hill Park attracted crowds from far and wide who sampled over 30 real ales, wine and cider.
They also enjoyed live music, arranged by local record label Artree and sponsored by the Windsor & Eton Brewery, including acoustic folk duo Kim Halliday and Tim Bastock who opened the festival last year, Bracknell based singer/songwriter Abi Powell and. the Saint Sebastian Wokingham Band.
Other acts were the rock and roll group Stomping Nomads, Berkshire based group Hey El Federico, swing group Flashback Band and Slough based rock band Robert and the Remoulds.
The England v Wales rugby match was also shown.
Local brewers included Loddon, West Berkshire, Ascot Ales and Rebellion based in Marlow.
