DIDN’T make it to Edinburgh last summer for the annual Fringe Festival?
Don’t worry, now is your chance to relive some of the highlights of 2015’s acts at Bracknell’s South Hill Park Arts Centre.

The centre’s team are in full fringe-swing this month as they dedicate their listings to showcasing some of the best talent to appear in Edinburgh’s pubs, clubs and theatres last year.

After kicking off the entertainment with Superbolt Theatre’s Jurassic Park parody Dinosaur Park on May and ARC Stockton’s Going Viral on May 11, the fun and laughter continues with James Seabright’s acclaimed What Would Spock Do?, an uplifting comedy about love and Star Trek which played to a sell-out crowd in the Scottish capital.

Such was its success that What Would Spock Do? is now embarking on a national tour after appearing at the Bracknell arts centre on Tuesday, May 17.

On May 18, Maysee’s Worklight Theatre take to the Studio Theatre stage with their award-winning show, Labels which is described as a funny, moving and honest story about mixed heritage and immigration, Labels nabbed both the Scotsman Fringe First Award and Holden Street Theatre’s Edinburgh Award after their 2015 showing.
Luke Wright and Paul Jellis wrap up a jam-packed week of drama on Friday, May 20, with their workshop and subsequent production, What I Learned from Johnny Bevan, a piece that tells the story of shattered friendship, class ceilings and the hollow reality of the New Labour dream.

It won a Fringe First Award for new writing and a The Stage Award for acting excellence. The Fringe-fest comes to an end on Wednesday, May 25 with The Wardrobe Ensemble’s production of 1972: The Future of Sex, a story which follows the life of the class of 1972 and covers the ins and outs of excellently awkward first sexual encounters.
