CLASSIC car fans can head along to the 13th annual one-day Volkswagen Show this Sunday.

Dubs at the Park will be held in the grounds of Easthampstead Park House in Peacock Lane, between 10am and 5pm, transforming the venue into a huge car display with numerous Volkswagens which will be judged later on in the day.

Any VW, any age, any condition can be nominated in one of several categories, with trophies and goody bags to be awarded to the VW car owners who are voted into the top 10 at the afternoon’s prize-giving ceremony.

There will be an acoustic stage, a Rolling Stones cover band, and local band ‘Spirit on the State’ on the main stage.

Other entertainment will include a traditional Punch and Judy show, Stormtroopers, traders, and a children’s area offering free activities such as face painting, a colouring competition and a bouncy castle.

Refreshments will be available from the bar and stalls and there will be a big barbecue before the prizes are handed out.

The event, organised by the London and Thames Valley VW club, has seen around 2,500 people attend in the past. Tickets are £7.50 per adult and under 14s go free (when accompanied by an adult). Dogs on leads are welcome.
