FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a young boy who got stuck in a pub's play area this afternoon because no one there had a screwdriver.
The youngster had to be released after getting his leg stuck between two wooden slats making up a walkway in the garden of the Green Man Pub in Crowthorne Road this afternoon (Thursday).
He escaped uninjured and was said to be fine after his 15 minutes trapped.
Firecrews turned up at the scene just after 4pm to help as no one there had a screwdriver to loosen the slats and free the boy's leg.
