A MUM was rushed to hospital on Saturday morning after a suspected carbon monoxide leak at her Winnersh home.
Her husband and two children, aged seven and three, escaped unharmed from the house in Bathhurst Road after its carbon monoxide alarm started beeping in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to the home at around 5.30am and the woman taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital after complaining of feeling ill for a few days.
Watch Manager Barratt of Bracknell Fire Station attended the scene.
In a warning to others, fire crews said households should make sure they have a carbon monoxide alarm fitted and to make sure their boilers are regularly serviced and working well.
