A NEW Mexican restaurant has been revealed as the latest addition to The Lexicon Bracknell.
The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership behind the town's multi-million-pound transformation, have announced Tex-Mex restaurant Chimichanga will be coming to the town.
The new 3,400 sq ft. restaurant, which will be the first Chimichanga to open in Berkshire, will sit between Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Wagamama’s on Eagle Lane.
Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Chimichanga to the new town centre.
"We’re confident that the restaurant compliments and adds to the unique mix of restaurants already signed up to The Lexicon.
"The announcement also represents another milestone as it completes the main ground floor lettings on Eagle Lane, the main restaurant street."
Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration, said: "It's fantastic that Chimichanga has chosen to open its doors in Bracknell.
"Currently you would have a 20 mile drive to the nearest restaurant in London, so this is a great vote of confidence for the town and demonstrates that well-known brands are keen to be part of our new town centre."
