TWO teenage boys are being sought after they jumped an 11-year-old and beat him to the ground.

The schoolboy had his glasses smashed and was repeatedly hit during the robbery, which took place in Great Hollands on Wednesday morning.

His rucksack was also emptied on to the floor and a small amount of money was taken from him.

The boy was in a pathway opposite Welbeck when the two teenagers jumped out from behind some bushes at around 8.20am.

He was then knocked to the ground where he was punched and kicked before his bag was taken and his glasses were stamped on.

He sustained facial injuries, grazes and minor bruises but not did require hospital treatment.

Police have described the first teenager as white, around 15 or 16 years old and with ginger hair shaved at the sides, longer on top and gelled back.

He was wearing a black Nike hooded top, black jogging bottoms and blue trainers at the time of the attack.

His accomplice was also white and a similar age and had brown cropped hair, a pierced right ear with a single silver stud.

He was wearing a light blue block coloured t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “Anyone with any information about the incident should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”
