FIRE fighters tackled a car blaze in Crowthorne last night.

A spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a crew from Bracknell was called to reports of a Land Rover on fire at 8.31pm last night (Wednesday, November 18) in Foresters Way, Crowthorne.

She added: "It was dealt with using two firefighters in breathing apparatus and one hose reel."

A spokeswoman from Thames Valley Police also confirmed that the force was called at 8.45pm by the fire service to assist and to put a road closure in place.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
