A FOOTBALL club has been forced to find temporary grounds for their Saturday matches after travellers set up camp on land in Warfield.

Whitegrove FC has had to rearrange four matches tomorrow after around six caravans arrived at Priory Fields in Newall Green on Thursday night.

The police and Bracknell Forest Council are currently dealing with the vans but it is not yet known how long it will take to move the group off the land.

Chariman of the football club James Bradbury said: "It's very disappointing but it's happened before, two or three times since I became chairman.

"It was stressful on Thursday night when we first found out about it but we've managed to rearrange the matches and hopefully they will all still go ahead.

"It's very disappointing, hopefully it won't affect matches in the next few weeks."

There are two 11-a-side pitches and one nine-a-side pitch for the teams at Priory Fields and the teams also use Westmoreland Park.
