A NEW development of 46 luxury apartments in Bracknell town centre is set to be sold off to landlords in the coming weeks.

The Ringside office building, formerly home to companies such as Innovex UK, has been transformed into a series of one and two-bedroomed flats, all high-specification with no affordable properties for sale.

Estate agents Romans are responsible for the selling and letting of the properties and say the increasing popularity of the town is due to the ongoing regeneration work.

Michael Robson, lettings manager at Romans Bracknell branch, said: “Bracknell is a great place for property investors because it is less than 40 miles from London and a short distance from Maidenhead and Reading, appealing to commuters and families alike.

“The town’s increased popularity is without doubt due to the long-awaited multi-million pound town centre regeneration which is well underway, and promises to deliver a state of the art shopping centre and entertainment facilities to suit all ages."

The average property price in Bracknell has risen by 15 per cent in the past year, with the average home now costing around £313,148.

Mr Robson expects them to continue to rise and said: “We’re predicting ongoing property price increases in Bracknell, and as we continue to receive more demand from tenants we’re also seeing rental prices increase, making this location ideal for property investors.”

An open investment evening will take place on Thursday, September 10.
