Fire crews were called to Loughborough ealier this morning after a pan fire in an empty home.
The crewcomander said the occupant had left for work so the house was empty.
Ellie Gray, a spokeswoman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 9:29 to the Crown Wood area.
"It was a small kitchen fire. The stop message came back at 10:12. It was dealth with by two firefighters with breathing apparatus then they ventellated the property."
