Imogen Sandford, 16, from Taplow, achieved some of the school's most outsanding GCSE results gaining 9 A*s and 2 As – a total of 86 points.

Head teacher, Rachel Owens said: “We are fortunate here at St George’s that we have some inspirational staff who excite intellectual curiosity and provide a stimulating and happy environment which is ideal for learning. Coupled with small class sizes and attention for individual needs, it is not surprising that students here are able to achieve some pretty impressive results and can take advantage of the exceptional range of co-curricular activities on offer.

“Students like Alannah and Imogen who input greatly into all the activities on offer and really give back to the community deserve to do really well. Sometimes challenges in life bring out the best in our students and motivate them to succeed and these girls become a real inspiration to the younger pupils.”
