Frederick Morton, 78, from Bracknell was trapped by the car and died at the scene following the collision at 9.30am on Monday (28/7) at St Mark’s Hospital in St Mark’s Road, Maidenhead.
The vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Zafira, rolled in the car park and collided with Mr Morton.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned yesterday (Thursday).
PC Melanie Todd, investigating officer from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to speak to any witnesses who saw the collision or anyone with any information which could assist in the investigation.” Call 101, quoting URN 346 28/7, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
