TEENAGERS could be six books away from winning an iPod Nano.
Wokingham Borough Council has launched its Teen Reading Challenge to get young people reading and using their local library over the school summer holidays.
Teens who read six books over the course of the summer are then entered into a prize draw to win the Apple product or goodie bags stuffed with teenage literature. To take part, all you need is a borough library card.
Cllr Pauline Jorgensen, executive member for internal services, said: “There are lots of wonderful books around that young people read for pleasure rather than because they are told to at school.” The challenge runs until September 22. For more information, go to www.wokingham.gov.uk/libraries
