Police visited the home of Joshua Henry, 23, in Lindenhill Road, on April 26, after suspicious activity was reported to them at about 2.40am.
Officers searched Henry and found him to be in possession of 28 wraps of cocaine.
On Friday, June 13, he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Reading Crown Court and was sentenced to three years in jail.
Senior investigating officer detective constable Alex Hillan said: “The judge stated that Henry is a capable man and it’s exasperating that he chooses to deal drugs.
“The sentence should send a very clear message to potential offenders, that Thames Valley Police and the Crown Prosecution Service take drug offences very seriously.”
