VISITORS were treated to a baking masterclass as a kitchen showroom marked a decade in business.

In-Toto Kitchens, in Peach Street, Wokingham, celebrated its 10th anniversary by inviting existing clients and potential customers to try some exclusive recipes.

Home economist Adrienne Cleasby was on hand to prepare smoke salmon toasties, raisin cookies and vanilla cupcakes using the latest range of NEFF pans, appliances and ovens.

Wokingham MP John Redwood and borough mayor UllaKarin Clark were also at the event, held on April 19.

Mrs Clark said: “It’s brilliant here. I have to tell you that this is the best place in the town to come if you need a new kitchen. The food has been wonderful and Adrienne really knows what she’s doing. There’s so much going on here in Wokingham and it’s great to have a business like this doing well.” While the showroom has been open for 10 years, co-owners Simon and Rubina Hughes have been in charge since 2012, when they decided they wanted to run their own business.

Mrs Hughes said: “We’ve had lots of people in today, it’s given us a buzz. We bought into the In-Toto franchise because it was an opportuntity to do something ourselves.

“I had a background in showrooms, mainly bathrooms and kitchens, so it was a good fit. Mr Hughes, who worked as an IT consultant before the couple’s investment, added: “It’s been a steep learning curve, as business wasn’t great when we started but last year was an improvement.” To learn more about In-Toto Kitchens visit www.intoto.co.uk
