VOLUNTEER group Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue has joined police in searching for missing Bracknell man Trevor Downs, who has been missing since the evening of Sunday, March 9.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in finding Mr Downs, who was last seen in Great Hollands South. He has not been seen since.

Trevor is 6ft 2ins, of slim build and with short brown hair. He may look slimmer than in this photo. He does not have access to a vehicle.

Mr Downs often walks in Swinley Forest and Easthampstead Park. Officers are appealing to anyone who walks in these areas to look out for Mr Downs.

Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue has been helping police with its searches in the aforementioned locations.

LPA Commander for Bracknell, Chief Inspector David Gilbert, said: “Mr Downs’ family are extremely worried about their loved-one. I would appeal to anyone who has any knowledge of Mr Downs’ whereabouts to please contact police immediately.

“I would ask members of the public, especially dog walkers who use the areas of Swinley Forest and Easthampstead Park to keep a lookout for Mr Downs.” Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Thames Valley Police immediately on 101, quoting URN 1171 of 11/3.
