POLICE are hunting for a man who robbed a bookmakers' in Ascot.

At about 7.20pm on Monday (December 9) a man entered a Ladbrokes store in Brockenhurst Road.

He demanded money from a female member of staff and leaned over a counter before stealing cash and leaving the premises on foot.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident.

The man is described as being 6ft 1ins, of medium build, wearing a black jumper, grey trousers, gloves and a face covering.

No one was injured during the incident.

Det Con Ross Fleming, of Maidenhead Force CID, said: “We are appealing for anyone with any information or anyone who saw someone who may have been acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident to contact police.
