FIREFIGHTERS were helped free a man from his car after it crashed into a ditch on the M4 this afternoon.
Crews from Wokingham, Bracknell and Windsor were called to the incident at about 1.10pm and used a ladder to help the man from the ditch.
The man was taken by land ambulance to Wexham Park Hospital.
The fire crews remained at the incident - which took place at junctions 10 to 8/9 - for about an hour and 20 minutes.
