THOSE who have sight problems or are hard of hearing can now benefit from a weekly 'sensory needs' clinic.
The clinic, launched on Tuesday last week, offers a resource centre full of equipment, aids and adaptations to help residents continue living independent lives.
Rooms at the Bridgewell Centre, in Ladybank, Birch Hill, have seen a revamp to accommodate the clinic - which is set to open once a week.
It is part of a wider redesign of Bracknell Forest Council's sensory needs service, led by consultation responses last year. The results of the consultation highlighted a demand for a local service, like the new clinic, and equipment reviews.
