A Governor of Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is due to appear before Reading Crown Court on Monday (May 20), charged with sexually assaulting a five year old girl.
Samuel Hagan, 68, of Calfridus Way,was arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of the girl in the Parks Estate on Monday, May 6.
Hagan represents Bracknell Forest for the council of governors at the trust.
Penny Coventry, trust spokeswoman said: "Mr Hagan has been suspended from his position as governor without prejudice.
"We have no further comment to make."
