A MAN was found dead in his home yesterday.
Officers were called to the house in Melrose, Birch Hill, at around 11am on Sunday where they discovered the body of a male in his fifties.
A police spokeswoman said the death is not being treated as suspicious and dismissed rumours of shotgun fire in the area, which emerged on Facebook and Twitter yesterday afternoon.
