AN INTRICATE network of new mountain bike trails is set for completion ahead of schedule.
Work began on updating 24km of dirt tracks and cycle paths within Swinley Forest, combining existing and new trails, in November, with changes pencilled in for completion mid-March.
However John Deakin, chief forester for The Crown Estate, told the News everything could even be completed as early as the end of February.
He said: "The trails are going really well; we're so happy with things and it looks like we're going to be ahead of target in terms of finishing. We certainly hope it will be done at least a couple of weeks early." For the full story, buy a copy of this week's Bracknell News.
