FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a conservatory which could have burnt down a cottage.
Crews from Bracknell, Wokingham and Old Wokingham Road fire stations were called to the cottage, in Forest Road, Binfield, at about 2.30am this morning (Thursday November 8).
A man and woman who were sleeping upstairs in the cottage were woken by glass smashing in their conservatory.
The fire crews managed to put out the fire before it got into the house but waited to clear all the smoke before they left the scene at about 5.30am.
