FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze in Evedon, Birch Hill last night (November 3).
It is believed a firework landed on a wooden table, which then ignited and spread to a wooden fence seperating two houses.
One fire engine was called to the scene at around 9pm, with another following when it was feared the houses may be in danger.
But the fire was extinguished before any damage was done, other than to a UPVC door which melted.
Fire crew left the scene at around 10pm.
