FIREWORKS will light up the sky over the next few days as folk celebrate Bonfire Night. Today (Saturday, Nov 3) there are displays in Bracknell, Wokingham and Ascot.

Doors open at the event at John Nike Leisuresport Complex, John Nike Way, at.6pm, with fireworks at 7.30pm. There will be food and drink on sale and entry is free.

A torchlight procession leaves Wokingham town centre ahead of fireworks in Cantley Field, Wokingham, on Saturday.

The procession leaves the centre at 6pm led by St Sebastian's brass band, arriving at Cantley Field, where there is a funfair and food outlets.

The fireworks start at 7.30pm and last 25 minutes before a big bonfire.

Tickets cost �6 on the gate.

All proceeds go to local charities, including Wokingham Cancer Care, the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance and DEBRA, the Crowthorne-based national charity supporting people with rare skin disease EB.

Proceeds will go to local charities. It starts at 4pm with the fireworks beginning at 6pm.

Tickets cost �7 for adults or �5 for children on the gate. There is free parking at the racecourse car parks one, five and six.

*Blue Mountain Golf and Conference Centre, Blue Mountain, Wood Lane, Binfield, is staging an event on Sunday.

Gates open at 5pm, with a bonfire at 6pm and fireworks at 6.30pm. There will also be a live band and fun fair for children and adults.

Alongside the fireworks there will be a bouncy castle, soft play and trampolining for children as well as a family disco.

The Time Out caf� bar will be selling hot and cold drinks and snacks with a barbecue outside. Doors open at 5pm and the 20-minute firework display to music starts at 6.30pm.

Family tickets must be bought before 3.15pm on the day.

*Wellington College in Dukes Ride, Crowthorne, is staging its Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday, November 10.

It promises a fun-filled evening of fair rides, fireworks and music.

Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire is lit at 8pm and the fireworks show starts at 8.30pm.

The event is held in aid of local and national charities.

Family tickets are �20 if booked in advance and �30 on the gate.
