BRACKNELL Forest's drug and alcohol treatment centre will close its doors for a week while it moves to a new premises.

The New Hope centre is currently at 92 Broadway and will close at 8pm on Tuesday, opening at its new home in 16-17 Market Street on Monday, November 12.

While the centre is closed an emergency drop-in service will be available from the SMART mobile unit in service yard A in the town centre.

Jillian Hunt, Bracknell Forest Council's drugs and alcohol team (DAAT) co-ordinator, said: "It will be quite sad to move out of the building but we must make room for the town centre regeneration and we need better premises so we can continue to improve and expand our services."
