The stunning former home of Henry VIII's first wife will be open to the public this Saturday as part of Heritage Open Days.

Catherine of Aragon lived at Easthampstead Park mansion, in Peacock Lane, Bracknell, for many years after the Tudor king exiled her.

Two tours around the magnificent Grade II listed, Jacobean-style building will take place at 10am and 11am.

The full list of Heritage Open Days in the area is: Thursday September 6 St Michael and Mary Magdalene, Easthampstead, RG12 7ER (a historic church with stained glass windows from famous Victorian designers), will be open 11am-4pm Artefacts from Sandhurst's history on display at Sandhurst Community Hall, Yorktown Road, GU47 9BJ, 11am-6.30pm Warfield Heritage Walk. Meet at Folly Frost car park, Wellers Lane, 4.30pm (finishes at 6.30pm).

Friday, September 7 St Michael and All Angels Church, Lower Church Road, Sandhurst, GU47 8HN, open noon-2pm (there was a chapel on site from 1220 with the existing one built in 1853).

Saturday, September 8 St John the Baptist Church, Waterloo Road, Crowthorne, RG45 7PB (church dates from 1873), open 10am-6pm Tours of Easthampstead Park mansion, Peacock Lane, Wokingham RG40 3DF, at 10am and 11am St Michael and Mary Magdalene, Easthampstead, open 10am-4pm (see details above).
